Some of my favorite travel moments have been on the water in Baja, Mexico. When the stars align and you have those special wildlife encounters, it changes something inside of you. It humbles you. I am beyond grateful for those moments that have forever left a mark on me. The ocean has a way of unveiling its magic in the most unexpected moments, so we encourage you to have an open mind, free of expectations and just enjoy the journey.

Hosting multiple group trips all around the world (Italy, Spain, Greece & Morocco), I have created such special memories and friendships to last a lifetime, and now it is your chance to join and do the same, in one of my favorite places in the world.
I have traveled to Baja by myself multiple times now, and I have curated the absolute best itinerary for my community that I am so excited to share. Some of my most special travel moments have happened here, and I hope I can give you those memories to last a lifetime as well.

REQUIREMENTS: Experienced, Confident Swimmers with Basic Snorkeling Knowledge
*No Scuba Diving experience is necessary for wildlife interaction
ACCOMMODATIONS
Tucked away and nestled in a quiet haven surrounded by desert and beach, Ventus Bay is the perfect place to experience the magic of Baja. The property consists of 4 eco-friendly airy and spacious palapas right on the sand, with the wild desert surrounding all sides. With just a few steps away from the beach, it’s the perfect location because the boat picks you up right in front of the property every morning for your full-day ocean safari.
The open-air restaurant Palapa at Ventus Bay is where we will enjoy our breakfasts and dinners, (except for the final night where we will venture into town for our farewell dinner).
Ventus Bay is equipped with wifi, eco-friendly palapas for double room occupancy, and an open-air restaurant palapa on the beach with a full bar that serves drinks and food.
Though we have set timeframes they may be subject to change.
ITINERARY
Day One
ARRIVAL DAY IN CABO SAN LUCAS
Transportation from Cabo San Lucas (SJD Airport) to La Ventana (approx. 2-2.5 hours).
Check-in to Ventus Bay.
7 pm - Welcome Dinner with your Host.
Days Two-Four
FULL-DAY OCEAN SAFARI (CAPTAIN AND CREW)
7:30 am - Breakfast at Ventus Bay.
8:30 am- Boat pick-up for a full day at sea. Lunch will be served on the boat.
4 pm - Late afternoon leisure + Q+A with Nicole
7 pm - Sunset dinner at Ventus Bay + sunset shoot
Day Five
FULL-DAY OCEAN SAFARI (CAPTAIN AND CREW)
7:30 am - Breakfast at Ventus Bay.
8:30 am- Boat pick-up for a full day at sea. Lunch will be served on the boat.
4 pm - Late afternoon leisure + Q+A with Nicole
7 pm - Sunset dinner at La Tuna restaurant.
Day Six
WRAP UP BREAKFAST AND SEND OFF
7:30 am - Breakfast at Ventus Bay.
Time TDB - Check-out of Accommodations.
Transportation from La Ventana to Cabo SJD airport (approx. 2-2.5 hours).

The intimacy of the group is what makes this trip so special and unique. Being just a small group of 6, we really get the ultimate experience with marine life on the boat and in the water. We also have been mindful to support local businesses in La Ventana by staying in local accommodations, hiring the most skillful and ethical captains and crew that have lived on the water in this area their whole lives, and really respect the animals and the ocean.

We know plans can change, but because of the exclusivity of the trip and limited number of spots available, we do not offer refunds. You will receive a credit that will never expire, which you will be able to use on future group trips & retreats that I host around the world.

I am excited to share you with my favorite brands so you can have all the gear needed for the trip! We are providing snorkel equipment (mask + snorkel and fins), but if you’d like to use your own or purchase additional dive gear here are the brands I use and recommend. We will also be doing an optional sunset shoot on the beach, and of course I have to recommend my own brand @Kadimah, which I will be giving out a discount code for.

Absolutely. We will be sending out a follow-up questionnaire to all booked travelers where you will be able to add more info about yourself, your preferences and any dietary restrictions. Please be as specific as possible so we can adjust the menus accordingly.

Nature is unpredictable and while wildlife is never guaranteed, our skillful team puts us in the best position to increase our chances for wildlife interactions. Baja’s marine life is so diverse; there is the possibility to see the incredible Mobula ray migration, and other marine species like sea lions, sperm whales, pilot whales, whale sharks, turtles, humpbacks, orcas, and massive pods of dolphins.

Rain or shine, we are going out! (if it’s safe of course). May and June are the absolute best months to be in Baja California, so the weather should be on our side. It is common to experience windy or cloudy days, but it is usually still safe to go out on the water. Sometimes you even get the best underwater encounters when the weather isn’t ideal! We will make the best with what we have.
